The engine was removed from the vehicle and fully disassembled

down to the bare block for inspection and measurement.

All engine components were cleaned, degreased, and cataloged for

inspection and reuse or replacement determination.

The engine block was measured for bore, taper, and out-of-round

conditions to establish machining requirements.

The block was bored and honed to final specifications using torque

plates to ensure proper cylinder geometry.

The rotating assembly was test-fitted, clearanced, and balanced for

proper operation at performance RPM levels.

The crankshaft was installed and main bearing clearances were

measured and verified.

Connecting rods and forged pistons were assembled, checked

for orientation, and installed with verified ring end gaps.

Piston-to-valve and piston-to-deck clearances were measured and

corrected as necessary.

The camshaft was installed, degreed, and verified for correct

timing events.

The timing set was installed and camshaft timing was validated

against manufacturer specifications.

The oil pump, pickup, and oil pan were fitted, aligned, and installed.

Cylinder heads were prepared, assembled, torqued, and installed

arm alignment. The intake manifold was fitted, sealed, and torqued.

The cooling system components were fitted and verified for clearance

and airflow. All engine finishes, coatings, and detailing were completed

up. Remove oil filter housing. Remove oil pressure sensor.

Install adapters and reinstall oil pressure sending unit.

Reinstall oil filter housing and oil filter. Hook up wire to sensor

Mask off silver on the hood scoops and prep the face of the

scoop and underside for satin black. Clean up the silicone

smears from the hood tach. Mask the gauge face. DA sand

with 400 grit to remove mold waves and finish with Scotch
